Digital media courses

Our digital media courses combine expert teaching, hands-on experience and state-of-the-art facilities, including TV and radio studios, the world's largest Playstation lab and our own commercial game development studio. Taught at the Department of Media Arts and Communication, our programmes include photography, games design, animation, visual effects and film production.

As a digital media student you'll work on real briefs and commercial projects, and also benefit from the department's close links with major employers, including Disney, Sony, Fremantle Media, Warp Films and the BBC. You'll also join a vibrant community of digital creatives across the university, with student societies devoted to filmmaking, games development, media and design.
